Correct Captions (“the service”, correctcaptions.com) is operated by Dentaco F.Z.E, Ajman Free Zone, UAE. By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Correct Captions turns audio and video into captions, rewriting industry vocabulary, notation, references and numbers according to the pack you choose. The on-device engines run entirely in your browser. The optional cloud engine sends compressed audio to a third-party speech-recognition provider for processing.

Accuracy

Captions are generated automatically and may contain errors. Packs correct spelling and notation from what the speech model heard; they do not verify facts, dosages, legal citations, prices or formulas. You are responsible for reviewing captions before publishing or relying on them.

Your content

You keep all rights to the audio, video and captions you process. You confirm you have the right to process the content you upload. We do not store uploaded media on our servers.

The 30-day pass

Two minutes per browser are free. After that, Correct Captions is sold as one plan: a 30-day pass for US$50, paid once through Ziina. Nothing renews automatically, so there is never anything to cancel. Buying another pass while one is running adds 30 days and another allowance on top. Captioning time is counted by the duration of audio you caption, rounded up to the second, across every pack and engine. Unused time ends with the pass. One-time hours bought before 17 October 2026 keep working and never expire; passes bought before then keep the allowance they were sold with. Refunds for an unused pass are handled case by case within 14 days of purchase.

Personal use and fair use

A pass is for one person (or one small team) captioning their own content. It is tied to the email used at checkout and can be signed in on up to 2 browsers at a time; signing in on another browser signs the oldest one out. You may not resell captioning, run a captioning service for other creators or clients, or share a pass between people.

So the price can stay at $50, each pass includes up to 20 hours of captioning, up to 3 hours per day (days reset at midnight UTC), and files of up to 45 minutes each. The cloud engine, when available, is limited to 10 hours per pass and 2 hours per day, and to a site-wide daily capacity. Very many files in a few minutes are slowed down for a short while. Link input is limited to 30 links a day. We log usage patterns that point to bulk or shared use and may pause a pass that breaks these terms; if we do, we’ll contact you at your checkout email first.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
