Correct Captions (“the service”, correctcaptions.com) is operated by Rebels Lab LLC FZ, Dubai, UAE. By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Correct Captions turns audio and video into captions, rewriting industry vocabulary, notation, references and numbers according to the pack you choose. The on-device engines run entirely in your browser. The optional cloud engine sends compressed audio to a third-party speech-recognition provider for processing.

Accuracy

Captions are generated automatically and may contain errors. Packs correct spelling and notation from what the speech model heard; they do not verify facts, dosages, legal citations, prices or formulas. You are responsible for reviewing captions before publishing or relying on them.

Your content

You keep all rights to the audio, video and captions you process. You confirm you have the right to process the content you upload. We do not store uploaded media on our servers.

Minutes

Two minutes per browser are free. Beyond that, hours are sold through Stripe in two ways: one hour for $12, bought once and never expiring; or a plan of 20 hours a month for $100, billed monthly until you cancel. Hours are consumed by the duration of audio you caption, rounded up to the second, and apply to every pack. Plan hours reset at each billing period and unused hours do not roll over; one-time hours are spent only after the plan hours for the period are used. Both are tied to a wallet token stored in your browser; a sign-in link sent to your checkout email can move them to another browser, so keep that address accessible. You can update your card or cancel the plan from the billing portal linked in the app; cancelling stops future charges and the current period runs to its end. Refunds for unused one-time hours are handled case by case within 14 days of purchase.

Fair use

The cloud engine is intended for individual creators, teachers and small teams. We may throttle or contact users who process more than 100 hours of audio per month.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
